Web Developer – Co-op/Intern
Nokia is a global leader in technology and innovation, and they are seeking a Web Developer Intern to join their team. In this role, you will assist in designing and implementing web GUI features while gaining exposure to cutting-edge network technologies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and implementing web GUI features – built with React and Redux
- Be exposed and learn cutting-edge network technologies in the fields of SDN
- Interacting with User Experience experts to deliver modern, easy-to-use enterprise-grade applications
- Work in a team-based Agile Environment; work with Developers, Testers, and Product Management to refine requirements, reputed company, and test our products
- Interact with Support Teams to provide software solutions to field-reported issues
Skills
- Currently a candidate for a master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a reputed company field with an accredited school in Canada
- Proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3
- Experience in application state management eg: Redux
- Familiarity with react component libraries such as ag-grid, formik, styled-components
- Experience working with package managers like npm
- Strong knowledge of REST API
- Experience with Git
