The Engineering Intern position provides an opportunity to work on projects that support national reputed company missions while enhancing skills in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Apply your classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of our country
- Work on projects that support some of our nation’s reputed company defense services
- Work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associated with our core mission
- Contribute to CONOPS, requirements definition, software modeling, analysis, design, integration, test, and verification of these systems
Skills
- Thorough understanding of engineering technology
- Enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other reputed company scientific or technical discipline
- Preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Clear understanding of the software engineering concepts, principles, theories, software development process, and agile methodology
- Clear understanding of the software development process, with agile experience
- Ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
