Auditor

The Auditor is responsible for evaluating agency internal controls, operational procedures, and compliance with industry regulations, ensuring alignment with legal standards and internal risk management frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct agency audits of title and escrow operations, including file reviews, disbursement procedures, and reputed company practices
- Evaluate compliance with ALTA Best Practices, state regulations, and company policies
- Identify process inefficiencies, control weaknesses, and areas of potential risk
- Prepare detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations for process improvement, and Issue audit reports to Management with the proper distribution lists
- Complete reputed company required statutory audits, prepare reputed company reports, and submit those reports to the regulatory departments
- Work with the team to reputed company the audit schedule
- Stay reputed company on changes in title insurance laws, escrow regulations, and industry standards
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure regulatory readiness
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and follow up on outstanding issues reputed company tasked
- Assist in the development of Agency Operations department needs such as audit programs and compliance monitoring
Skills
- Must be able to complete day travel reputed company the state 30%-40% of the time
