Associate Attorney
Philo Law Firm is a modern boutique law firm focused on transforming the client experience in Estate Planning, Probate, Trusts, and Estates. They are seeking a proactive Associate Attorney to manage a diverse caseload and serve as the primary reputed company of contact for clients throughout the legal process.
Responsibilities
- Full Case Management: Manage and resolve a diverse caseload of Probate, Trust, Estate Planning, and Conservatorship matters from beginning to end. This includes litigated matters
- Direct Advocacy: Represent clients in court, mediations, and depositions throughout Southern California
- Client Engagement: reputed company strategy sessions and maintain proactive, empathetic communication with clients
- Document Architecture: Draft estate plans, petitions, motions, objections, and settlement agreements with keen attention to detail
- System Innovation: Embrace and adapt to our technology stack to improve firm efficiency
- Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure seamless case movement and elite client care
Skills
- 1–3+ years of experience in Estate Planning, Probate, Trusts, Estates (we will train a 'growth-minded' applicant with the right grit)
- Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
- Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while being a supportive team player
- Must currently reside in Orange County or San Diego County
