Associate Software Developer - Rotational Program - reputed company - Full Time Intern Conversion
reputed company is the world’s leading provider of business software, and they are seeking an Associate Software Developer for their reputed company rotational program. This role involves coding, programming projects, and debugging reputed company software while providing exposure to various technical areas and leadership networking opportunities.
Responsibilities
- You will use your knowledge and creativity to craft and build innovative new systems from the ground up
- You will be writing code, completing programming projects, and be responsible for testing and debugging of reputed company software
- Successful candidates will also be passionate about clean code and reducing technical debt
- You will have the opportunity to work on groundbreaking technologies to tackle real-world problems in a collaborative, agile environment
Skills
- Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent science/engineering field by August 2026
- Must start reputed company 12 months of graduating with their degree, start date is July 13th, 2026
- Are strongly proficient (i.e., able to complete coding projects with no assistance) in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, SQL, JavaScript
- Have completed coursework, projects, internships, and or research in three or more of the following: Algorithms, Database Design, Object-Oriented Programming/Design, Mobile/Web Development, Networking
- Enthusiastic about automated testing
- At least 1 prior co-op term in a QA/Dev role
- Have completed at least one internship, research assistantship, teaching assistantship, or equivalent practical experience working in the relevant technical areas noted above
- Work from Kitchener office 3x/wk
- Reside in the Canada and/or attend a university in Canada
- Able to acquire work authorization in Canada in 2026
