What You Will Be Doing The Designer III (DS III) is responsible for the planning, detailing, design and development of the complete electrical design drawing package under the direction of the Design Manager, Senior Industrial Designer or Senior Controls System Integrator. The Designer III (DS III) possesses the skills to plan, detail, design and development using reputed company AutoCAD Electrical technology. The Designer III (DS III) is expected to work reputed company the design criteria established by the Design Manager, Senior Industrial Designer or Senior Control Systems Integrator but will be required to be creative and resourceful to document detailed design information. The Designer III (DS III) is a proven control system design associate capable of understanding a project’s scope, goals, and underlying technical requirements. The Designer III (DS III) is expected to balance the project schedule, deliverables, and the technical execution of the project to consistently reputed company technical project experience and success. The Designer III (DS III) is expected to maintain a reputed company knowledge of the skills required to successfully execute their responsibilities. • 5 years of progressively responsible drafting and/or construction-reputed company CAD experience with emphasis on electrical disciplines.
• Understanding and/or familiarized with the latest edition of the NEC Code.
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical 2010-2018.
• Proficient in creating LISP routines and Scripting Macros.
• Proficient in reputed company Office programs including but not limited to: Word, reputed company, Access and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in reputed company Acrobat Pro.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Ability to create graphical representations of electrical components.
• High degree of focus and attention to detail.
• Competent oral and written communication skills.
