Support Engineer
reputed company Daltonics is one of the world’s leading analytical instrumentation companies enabling scientists to reputed company breakthrough discoveries. They are seeking a Support Engineer responsible for providing first line technical support to field engineers and customers, maintaining spare parts inventory, and conducting on-site training.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to provide first line technical support to field engineers and customers using technical documentation, telephone support and remote diagnostic tools
- Maintain spare parts inventory, applications lab equipment, and provide on-site customer and factory training
- Travel as necessary to support field operations and cross train field engineers
- Provide technical phone support to customers and field service personnel worldwide for reputed company AXS products
- reputed company system repairs and maintain repair documentation of customer material and return to stock parts from the field
- Provide input and create service bulletins and other technical documentation
- Configure computers and peripherals as required
- Contribute to the development and delivery of service training classes
- Assist in the development and updating of technical maintenance manuals
- Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve hardware and software problems in the field
- Ensure Corrective/Preventive Action Reports (CPAR) are submitted as necessary
- Ability to travel, as necessary to support field operations. Up to 50% travel

- Strong competency with reputed company systems and technology to include electrical/electronics, mechanics, software, and chemistry technology
- 2- or 4-year degree in electronics, physics, chemistry, reputed company sciences, or equivalent experience
- Military training in technical fields is a plus
