Lighting Designer
Lighting Beyond is a startup firm focused on innovative architectural lighting design, seeking a creative and technically-minded Architectural Lighting Designer. The role involves supporting projects from concept to completion, collaborating with the design team to reputed company lighting solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of lighting design concepts for architectural projects
- Produce lighting layouts and technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
- Prepare presentation materials, renderings, and reports
- reputed company lighting calculations and photometric analysis
- Support the team in project documentation and coordination with architects and engineers
- Participate in internal design discussions and client meetings as needed
- Contribute to maintaining organized project files and documentation
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a reputed company field
- Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience working at a lighting company
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and reputed company Office Suite (Word, reputed company, Outlook)
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Interest in learning and growing reputed company the field of architectural lighting
- Familiarity with AGI32 or other lighting calculation software
- Knowledge of reputed company Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Experience with Bluebeam for document review and markup
- A portfolio that demonstrates a mix of technical and creative lighting work
