The role involves producing engaging content that highlights alumni achievements and enhances community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Write and update monthly alumni spotlights
- Produce web content for the alumni microsite (resources, applications, events)
- Assist with newsletter-style updates and content
- Participate in calls/interviews with alumni or team members
- Research and implement strategies to boost engagement and site traffic
- Upload/publish content reputed company provided access and instruction
Skills
- Strong journalistic or editorial writing background
- Experience writing for nonprofit, education, or alumni/community engagement platforms
- Understanding of web publishing and basic CMS usage (training can be provided)
- Self-starter who can manage tasks with minimal reputed company
- Comfortable conducting interviews and turning them into compelling stories
- Familiarity with storytelling strategies that boost visibility and engagement
- Time Zone Preference: U.S. Eastern or Central Time Preferred
