What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling daily member telephone calls: Direct members to necessary services, provide education, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assisting providers with eligibility, benefits, and claims problems: Collaborate with our Medical Management Department to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborating with the Medical Management Department for service authorizations: Work closely with our team to ensure that members receive the care they need.
  • Working remotely to ensure efficient service delivery: Utilize your problem-solving skills to resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service from the comfort of your own home.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions: Provide a positive experience for our members and their families.

What's Required (Qualifications)

To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent certification: A solid educational foundation is essential for success in this role.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in customer service with direct customer contact: Proven experience in customer-facing roles is a must.
  • Strong communication skills for interactions via telephone, email, chat, or face-to-face: Excellent communication skills are essential for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting: Self-motivation and discipline are key to success in this role.
  • Knowledge of HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO, and Managed Care functions: Familiarity with healthcare operations is a plus.

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

If you have:

  • One (1) year of experience in a physician healthcare office or high-volume call center: You'll have a head start in understanding the complexities of healthcare operations.
  • Familiarity with HMO, PPO, TPA, PHO, and Managed Care operations: Your knowledge of healthcare operations will enable you to provide more effective support to our members.
