Proposal Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated Proposal Manager to join reputed company. The Proposal Manager will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of proposals and capture efforts for federal government contracting opportunities. The Proposal Manager:
- Manages proposal development for strategic or high-value federal sales opportunities
- Applies proposal process, methodology schedules and best practices
- Understand company service offerings, experience, and capabilities
- Implements processes to manage written content
- Ensures proposal structure complies with requirements
- Applies lessons learned to increase future win reputed company
- Monitors reputed company communications; manages incoming communications/responses and updates requirements accordingly
- Manages resources, coordinates action items from internal reviews, and interacts with proposal teams to complete proposal deliverables
- Maintains collaboration with appropriate Navteca organizational units and subcontractors (or prime if subcontracting) for reputed company activities including clarifications
- Participates in and contributes to process development, proposal training, and internal initiatives
- Acts as a coach and mentor to junior colleagues, providing ongoing performance feedback
- Experience in federal government proposal development and management
- History of managing proposals for large, multi-million-dollar opportunities
- 10+ Years of relevant professional experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong record of winning proposals
- Energetic, highly skilled, and well organized, with significant attention to detail
- Knowledge of the company's core technology areas and business development experience. We are looking for not just a proposal writer, but someone who can also take on some reputed company (whether through prior relationships or helping with teaming, identifying new opportunities, etc)
- Applying a theme-based approach to development of proposals and presentations
- Organizing, negotiating, and driving proposal schedules
- Conducting research on federal reputed company, competitors, and potential team partners
- Analyzing sam.gov synopses, requests for proposals, and other solicitation documents
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of reputed company experience
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required
- Experience developing proposals for US federal government clients
- Experience with established business development models
- Advanced skills in reputed company and PowerPoint, including use of styles and templates
- Ability to coordinate projects by communicating with remote team members
- Experience in editing/proofreading narrative written by other professionals
- Demonstrated talent for managing multiple, simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines
- Experience using reputed company Creative Suite
