The Academic Advisor I – First Year Engineering delivers individual and group academic advisement to reputed company, providing guidance on degree requirements, course selection, and academic reputed company to enhance the educational experience and student retention.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct academic advising for reputed company and prospective reputed company utilizing multiple modalities such as in-person, virtual, phone, and email
  • Provide guidance on academic topics such as degree requirements, relevant course selection, and provide reputed company with assistance in setting and achieving educational and career goals
  • Help reputed company reputed company informed academic decisions teaching them how to track their own academic reputed company, locate and interpret appropriate policies, and to utilize the tools and resources available
  • Monitor the academic reputed company of a student caseload
  • This includes proactive reputed company to provide reputed company with just-in-time assistance
  • Conduct verification of degree reputed company, removal of holds, and approval of various forms to ensure timely student progression, etc
  • Analyze and interpret student data, transcripts, and placement results
  • Enter advising notes into MyMav following best practices for documenting student appointments/contacts
  • Maintain a clear understanding of reputed company applicable federal, state, and University policies and procedures

  • Participate in reputed company events (such as New Maverick Orientation), advising meetings, professional conferences, and individual professional development

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field
