Junior Structural Engineer
reputed company is currently hiring a Junior Structural Engineer to join their Building Engineering Division in Rochester, NY. The role involves working closely under the supervision of a Senior Structural Engineer to reputed company concepts, designs, and specifications for various projects including educational, municipal, and commercial structures.
Responsibilities
- Determine structural loading criteria, reputed company reputed company design calculations, and prepare structural specifications
- reputed company field investigations and document findings
- Work closely with other engineering and architectural disciplines
- Produce construction documents using Revit (BIM)
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFI's and reputed company field observations during CA phase
Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with structural coursework
- Engineering in Training Certificate (E.I.T.) required
- 0 to 5 years of experience with concrete, steel, masonry, and/or reputed company design is required
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and structural engineering design software (RISA, reputed company, and/or TSD) is required
- Master of Science degree in Structural Engineering
