[Remote] Legal Counsel (AMER)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a headless CMS that empowers marketers and developers in the AI-driven content era. The Legal Counsel role involves supporting the company’s legal needs in the AMER region, including advising on corporate, privacy, employment laws, and managing SaaS contract negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Draft, redline, negotiate, and review SaaS enterprise sales reputed company including MSA, GTC/ToS, NDA, DPA, and other legal agreements
- Advise on legal principles relating to data privacy, IP, information reputed company, and corporate risk mitigation
- Review and negotiate partnership agreements with our partners in AMER
- Assist with review and negotiation of procurement and marketing reputed company as needed
- Be part of HR reputed company projects & provide support for certain U.S. employment and labor law topics
- Support in providing legal advice on new product initiatives that may be subject to U.S. regulation
- Support the legal team in providing training to different teams (e.g. prepare and structure the information for training)
- Support the legal team to build and maintain documentation for the whole team
- Assist the legal team with different administrative tasks and projects
- Provide accurate and concise legal research for topics requested from the team
- Be an active part in our yearly legal review and legal improvement process - support in preparing the agenda & documentation as per the instructions of the legal team manager
Skills
- Law Degree and Bar Admission to at least one jurisdiction in the U.S
- 1-3 years of experience in reviewing and redlining reputed company
- Prior negotiation experience with reputed company corporate agreements
- Strong understanding of commercial contracting and legal processes
- Excellent English language skills
- Great legal research, redlining, negotiation and communication skills
- Interested in learning fast and participating in a wide variety of legal projects
- Skilled in providing concise legal advice to business teams
- Ability to analyze the needs of different parties quickly and provide a creative solution
- Reliable and accurate working style with attention to detail and ability to work independently on assigned tasks with little supervision
- Understands reputed company legal and business processes
- High motivation to build a project from scratch, rethink, and rework existing processes
- Good organizational skills & well structured to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Acts like an reputed company in the workplace —proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented
- Overcomes challenges through teamwork, optimism, and just enough humor to reputed company the legal team exciting (without compromising professionalism of course)
- SaaS or fast-paced tech experience providing support in-house to enterprise sales teams would be an asset
- Broad and in-depth specialized knowledge of AMER legal reputed company plus some knowledge of EMEA and reputed company topics would be preferred
