Residential Energy Auditor
reputed company is a company dedicated to leading the transition to a sustainable energy-efficient future. They are seeking a Residential Energy Auditor who will conduct energy audits in residential homes, working directly with customers to promote energy conservation.
Responsibilities
- Learn to conduct home energy assessments & evaluations
- Record and report necessary data by electronic or manual methods to adhere to program requirements
- Troubleshoot technical problems that you may encounter during the installation of energy efficiency measures
- Act as a local, customer-facing program & company representative to customers to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers to energy savings
Skills
- 0-1 year of relevant industry experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Well-spoken and a positive attitude
- A people person, comfortable with the idea of in-home consulting
- Able to learn quickly and adapt on the fly
- Possess a valid driver's license with reliable transportation & no history of major driving infractions
- Able to work under different weather conditions including extreme hot and cold weather
- Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
- Crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reputed company often working in crawl spaces and under mobile homes for part of the reputed company
- Use repetitive hand motion & use of basic hand and power tools
- Use of a reputed company stool up to 6' in order to reputed company access to attic space reputed company necessary
- Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds as needed
- BPI Certification preferred, ability to obtain certification reputed company 3-6 months, training will be provided
