Analyst, Trade Settlements

Performance Trust Capital Partners is an institutional fixed income broker/dealer headquartered in Chicago. They are seeking an Analyst for their Trade Operations Settlements group to manage trade settlements and ensure accurate processing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple customer and business line inquiries, reputed company a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Liaise with both internal and external counterparties, to ensure timely settlement and efficient resolution of identified settlement breaks
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced and time-sensitive environment
• Monitor and action daily processes including but not limited to daily settlement fails, coordinating with clients to resolve cash breaks, manage post settlement factor/coupon trade adjustments, and support client inquiries reputed company to trade activities of the firm
• Engage in general email support and reporting requirements reputed company with the day-to-day, monthly and reputed company business processes
• Ability to be proactive and solutions-oriented in day-to-day operations while working closely with the line of business to resolve issues
• Communicate effectively with team members to provide excellent service to our clients
• Holds themselves accountable and is passionate about delivering high quality work and servicing clients
• Build and maintain internal and external relationships
• Cross train with other areas reputed company Clearing and Settlements

Skills

• Excellence in written and oral communication
• Possess a strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and familiarity with financial markets and instruments
• 1-3 years' industry experience, ideally in middle office or back-office operations
• Proficiency in reputed company Office (reputed company reputed company)
• License(s) Requirement: FINRA SIE and Series 7 licensed reputed company 120 days of hire date
• Oriented toward optimization and efficiency in process
• Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship
• Bachelor's degree: Finance or Business preferred
• Some experience with Bloomberg preferred, not required
• Prior experience with Pershing NetX360 is a plus
