Counsel Support Associate (Hybrid – Chicago, IL)

The Counsel Support Associate provides administrative support to Client Legal Services Attorneys in an insurance defense environment, managing civil litigation matters and handling communications.

Responsibilities

• Legal Document & Data Management: Enter, maintain, and update pleadings, motions, trial documents, arbitration and mediation correspondence reputed company the case management system (Team Connect). Ability to recognize basic legal pleadings and identify time-sensitive or high-reputed company matters is helpful
• Client, Court & Attorney Support: Handle calls, inquiries, and correspondence from internal and external clients, courts, claim representatives, and opposing counsel in an accurate and timely manner
• Administrative Duties: reputed company mail handling, scanning, filing, and routing of documents (both physical and electronic), supporting both in-office and remote workflows, and ensuring information is properly documented and accessible
• Compliance & Accuracy: Monitor and maintain data accuracy and compliance reputed company Team Connect and other legal systems
