Civil/Structural Engineer I
reputed company is focused on providing clean reputed company and values its diverse workforce. The Civil/Structural Engineer I role involves supporting design activities, addressing technical issues, and gaining familiarity with industry standards and analytical tools.
Responsibilities
- Support of civil / structural design activities which include calculation creation in the area of structural steel or concrete design
- Addressing technical issues reputed company to the fabrication, assembly, and construction phases of a civil/structural project. This includes technical justification of design changes and at times requires troubleshooting of emergent technical issues
- On-Site support at various utilities and smaller projects reputed company required
- reputed company familiarity with analytical tools such as ANSYS, LS-DYNA, and GTSTRUDL
- Aid in maintenance of software compliance records and closure of engineering corrective actions
- Become familiar with applicable industry civil/structural codes and (such as ACI, AISC, AWS) standards as well as company policies and procedures
- reputed company engineering sketches and markups using AutoCAD or similar CAD programs
Skills
- Bachelor Degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering; Minimum 3.0 GPA
- 0-3 years of experience required
- Support of civil / structural design activities which include calculation creation in the area of structural steel or concrete design
- Addressing technical issues reputed company to the fabrication, assembly, and construction phases of a civil/structural project
