Job Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Precise reading, interpreting, and entering data into our computer system, including calculating dosages, processing prescriptions, and accepting payment from patients
- Contacting specialist offices and insurance companies to verify the accuracy of patients' specialty medication orders
- Responding to patient calls to facilitate and manage new patient medication orders, reorders, and verifications
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Collaborating with our team to resolve issues and improve processes, ensuring seamless communication and coordination
Required Capabilities
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A valid IL Pharmacy Technician License
- At least 6 months of experience working in a pharmacy setting
- At least 6 months of experience working with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
- Proficiency in typing and keyboarding skills
- Ability to sit or stand for the duration of the shift (8-10 hours)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Preferred Capabilities
While not required, the following skills and experiences will be highly valued:
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician
- Experience working with and resolving customer complaints via telephone
- Medical billing, coding, and other clinical support experience
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, with knowledge of benefits, insurance, and medications
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
