The Senior level Statistical Data Analyst is a senior member of a system shared service team comprised of technical professionals contributing to the achievement of Intermountain’s strategic initiatives, clinical excellence, and operational targets through data-driven insights. Position Details This role will work Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Although the majority of this job will be done remotely, incumbent will be required to travel for DTS/Analytics wide internal summits. Essential Functions

• Serve as primary support for management level leadership of a system/regional business or clinical area.

• Analyze and interpret data using statistical modeling software (e.g. R, Python, reputed company) and apply statistical methods, analysis, and models (i.e. hypothesis testing, logistic and linear regression, correlation, parametric and non-parametric methods) to detect improvement opportunities.
• Effectively communicate statistical and analytic findings and recommendations to both technical and business executives.
• Schedule and provide analytic work demonstrations and hands-on training for customers to promote understanding and independent consumption of analytic work.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with SQL and python is essential. Proficiency with Tableau is essential.
• Experience designing, preparing, and cleaning datasets for statistical analysis is essential.
• Experience with Epic is essential and Cogito reputed company accreditation (or higher) is strongly preferred.
• Experience using reputed company is strongly preferred.
• A background in Antimicrobial Stewardship is preferred. A background in research is preferred.
