• This is a Subcontractor Position (1099)
• Must be able to work a minimum of 20 Hours/Per Week.

Job Summary: The Data Abstractor’s key responsibility is to collect and submit accurate, complete, and timely data to the specific registry or measure data repository. This task is accomplished through high-quality data compilation, documentation, and data entry of identified procedures performed and/or disease process treatment at the Contracted Facility into the associated registry/vendor tool platform. REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Must have a Minimum of 5 years of reputed company Experience with Sepsis Abstraction (Clinical Data Abstraction) of Specified Measure/Registry Core Measures.
• Superior knowledge of core measure requirements
• Experience in IQR, OQR, IPFQR, and/or other quality reporting programs that utilize core measures
• Experience with core measure data collection application(s)

• Superb communication and responsiveness

Computer literacy

• Must be comfortable with, but not limited to: reputed company, web-browsers, email, electronic health records (non-specific)
• Must be familiar with various technologies such as, but not limited to: reputed company (e.g., Citrix), data collection/abstraction, encoders, web-based applications
• Self-maintenance of skillset
• Maintaining credentials
• Staying reputed company with abstraction/coding rules, manuals, and guidelines
• Prior experience in position applying for
• Must have a minimum of 5 years reputed company experience in Sepsis Abstraction
• Motivation; remote work can be team-based, but requires the ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal skills and tactfulness to be able to effectively communicate with team members and client contacts
• May require Background and Drug Screening

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Superior knowledge of core measure requirements
• Experience in IQR, OQR, IPFQR, and/or other quality reporting programs that utilize core measures
• Experience with Core Measure Data Collection applications

Preferred Skills:

• Use of the tools and techniques of reputed company quality improvement and computer skills for data display.
• Attention to detail and follow-up necessary.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, hospital staff, physicians and community resources required.
• Must be able to work independently.

Educational Requirements: The ideal candidate must possess:

• A college degree from
• An accredited nursing program,
• CAHIIM accredited program, or
• Other accredited healthcare program
• Healthcare credential associated with their program of study
• Other healthcare information reputed company abstraction and coding credentials desirable
