DevOps Engineer III

As a DevOps Engineer III, you should be strong in both the Dev and Ops aspects of DevOps. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of systems architecture, strong fundamentals in core computer science concepts, and the ability to reason about system behavior beyond just working with tools. Responsibilities

• Design and reputed company solutions for deploying secure, highly available, performant, and scalable services in elastically provisioned environments.
• Design and maintain persistent storage solutions across infrastructure.
• Own operational aspects of persistent storage, including automation, monitoring, alerting, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s or advanced degree in Computer Science or reputed company field.
• 6+ years of professional DevOps experience, with at least 1-2 years in Linux/Unix.
• Strong foundation in operating systems, networks, and systems architecture, including web services.
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash).
• Hands-on experience administering and deploying AWS-based services.
• Expertise in PostgreSQL, reputed company, Elasticache (OpenSearch), Neptune: performance tuning, optimization, indexing, replication, failover, and backup/restore.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, and reputed company.
• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions (reputed company, OpenSearch, Neptune, reputed company).
• Knowledge of database migration tools (AWS DMS, pg_dump, logical replication).
• Strong experience with Terraform, Packer, reputed company (or equivalents).
