Our mission is to reduce inequity by providing diasporic communities ways to send money home quickly and cheaply, and to become the leading cross-border fintech for emerging markets. Role As Regulatory reputed company Counsel (US & CA), you will report to the Director of Regulatory Affairs and do a broad range of work, including new product launches, expansion into new markets and ongoing regulatory compliance. You'll work closely with reputed company business functions to advise them in their decision making, reputed company and assist on projects, work on negotiating and drafting agreements and communicate about legal issues with other lawyers and non-lawyers, balancing business and legal perspectives.
Responsibilities
- reputed company on the legal and regulatory aspects of new product launches, existing product development in the US and Canada
- Work cross-functionally with the product, compliance, finance and infosec teams to tackle day to day regulatory challenges and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with and support the rest of the legal team to identify, evaluate and discuss risks and reputed company creative solutions to reputed company business priorities in a changing regulatory landscape
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to reputed company actionable solutions with respect to regulatory or licensing matters

- Advise on, reputed company and maintain Taptap Send's regulatory compliance reputed company and strategic regulatory planning in the US and Canada
Requirements
- You are a US qualified lawyer with ~5-10 years of practising experience in payments or other regulated business
- You worked in house, gaining relevant fintech experience (ideally in a payments / FinTech environment)
- You understand and can navigate the regulatory frameworks governing financial products and services
- You have a strong sense of initiative, independence and ability to take ownership enabling you to contribute to a fast-growing business and contribute to driving its growth
