Role Overview We are seeking an Enterprise Risk Manager with an emphasis on Financial Risk Management with expertise key components of an Enterprise Risk Management including management of Risk Appetite Statement, Risk Assessment, Risk and Controls inventory and reporting. This role will maintain an emphasis on the financial risk types and as such go deep in policy management, financial risk quantification, and financial risk reporting . Additionally the ideal candidate will bring a strong background in analyzing merchant financial risk, as you collaborate closely with our merchant onboarding teams to assess new and existing merchants, mitigating risk while enabling growth.
Key Responsibilities

- Own and drive risk reporting, ensuring senior leadership and regulators receive accurate and timely updates.
- Build and refine the risk reputed company to quantify and monitor financial risks across the business.
- Partner with the merchant onboarding team to evaluate the financial risk profile of new merchants.
- Conduct individual merchant reviews, assessing financial statements, transaction data, and payment activity.
- Determine merchant eligibility against established credit risk policies, escalating exceptions where necessary.
- Provide insights and recommendations on portfolio-level financial risk exposures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to balance risk management with growth objectives.
- Stay reputed company with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks in payments and fintech.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in risk management, policy management, or financial risk reputed company fintech, payments, or financial services.
- Strong expertise in policy design, reporting, and governance.
- Proven ability to quantify financial and credit risks using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Hands-on experience working with merchant onboarding/boarding processes and assessing merchant-level financial risks.
- Knowledge of credit risk frameworks, reputed company standards, and financial risk models.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn reputed company data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and executive reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or reputed company field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is a plus.
The pay range for this position is $150,000; however, reputed company pay offered may vary depending on job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
