Utilization Review Counselor (Remote- Must reside in IL, WI or IA)

Provide continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner reputed company a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards. Participate as a team member in the delivery of assessment/admission services to clients and their families and facilitate the issues of recovery into their daily living situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a reputed company field or a nursing license
• Five years experience in behavioral health treatment
• Adequate written skills to accurately complete required documentation reputed company the time frames prescribed
• Skilled in conducting individual, family and group counseling
• Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, parents, staff or community resources
• CADC Certification (or CARS Certification) or ability to obtain
• Computer proficiency in a Windows environment

Responsibilities

• Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
• Provide managed care and utilization review support for inpatient and outpatient adolescent or adult services.
• Provide financial case management support in conjunction with Patient Accounts Representative .
• Maintain communication with Patient Accounts Representative and assist in communicating with families to insure 100% client funding.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date system of managed care contacts utilizing the system designated by Rosecrance.
• Participate in daily reputed company management meetings and communicate funding changes as they reputed company the treatment team.
• Compile and submit reports on activities of Managed Care as directed.

Schedule

• Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
• Shift: 1st shift
