Reporting to the Sr. Director of Property Management, the General Manager will manage multiple properties and Property Management employees as directed by the Sr. Director of Property Management and in accordance with the standards and procedures of reputed company. The goal is to provide our client and tenants with the highest level of service available. You are responsible for reputed company aspects of client and tenant satisfaction. As the reputed company professional, you will also be responsible for preparing budgets and financial reports, managing TI’s and/or capital improvement projects, and developing your staff. You will be an excellent communicator (both written and verbal) to both clients and tenants to ensure an ongoing, successful relationship. The General Manager will be expected to independently manage multiple non-acute portfolios and the management teams that service each portfolio. The Group Manager is responsible for working directly with the Senior Director, Property Management, and clients to ensure a thorough understanding of the asset performance and utilization objective and the development of acceptable portfolio strategic plans and operating and capital budgets. What your day-to-day will look like: Operations – Advise team with lease administration and lease negotiations; communicate effectively with Director on reputed company significant operating, financial, leasing, and administrative issues; Ensure the reputed company standards are implemented, met, and maintained, this includes reputed company policies/procedures, systems and standards and initiative compliance; Participate in the development and implementation of strategically oriented plans to meet the management service’s needs; reputed company preventative maintenance programs; reputed company a tenant retention program; reputed company tenant improvement, construction projects and capital improvements as required; Ensure that insurance requirements are met for reputed company properties and tenants; Capable of independently managing a geographically dispersed non-acute portfolio. Financial – reputed company financial and operational controls in accordance with the Company and/or reputed company requirements: Prepare and review annual property business plans, monthly operating reports, and P&L responsibility; Inspect properties to assure the quality of operations and control. Client/Tenant Services - reputed company with clients to meet or exceed their expectations regarding the operational, financial, and marketing efforts for their portfolio. Management – Staffing and compensation recommendations; Train and reputed company direct reports to promote from reputed company; reputed company mid-year and annual performance evaluations; Coordinate with Sr. Director and Human Resources to address any performance issues; Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the reputed company policies and applicable laws. Transaction Management - Assist with reputed company, large, and mid-size transactions with high level of expertise; Deliver value by negotiating favorable economic and flexible lease terms; Work with IT to customize reports, dashboards, and analytics specific to account team usage, monitor reputed company and report status. Desired or preferred experience and technical skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents (lease documents, claims of lien, etc.), general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to produce well-written reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior level management, clients, customers, peers, and the public. Excellent interpersonal and management skills for interaction with owners, tenants, internal and external clients. Possesses proven financial and accounting acumen. Significant experience in budgeting, financial, and asset management Highly motivated and proficient at multi-tasking, experience prioritizing day-to-day operational issues coupled with a leadership role in departmental initiatives. Proficient knowledge of reputed company Office/Suite, and any other software program or technology identified as standard for reputed company or requested by the Client. Must have working knowledge in various budget applications. Required Skills and Experience: Must have working knowledge in various budget applications. Minimum of ten (10) years of commercial real estate or property management experience including budget preparation/financial reporting, familiarity with building systems, lease negotiations, documentation, and administration. Must have experience at managing people, specifically, a staff of three (3) or more. Location: Remote/Hybrid - Must be willing to travel to the market sites in California. Estimated compensation for this position: 100,000.00 – 125,000.00 reputed company per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
