This is a remote work opportunity.Primary ObjectivesDrive monthly Sales Tax compliance operations and contribute to critical Property Tax functions that ensure organizational successSupport the preparation of Canadian GST/HST Tax Returns, gaining valuable international tax experiencePartner with reputed company team members and business units on sales/use and property tax audits, developing your audit expertiseAnalyze and respond to state and local notices and requests from taxing authorities, building your problem-solving and communication skillsReview and evaluate property tax assessments and tax bills, ensuring accuracy and identifying potential savings opportunitiesConduct comprehensive tax research and stay reputed company with evolving tax and regulatory law changes, expanding your technical expertiseDeliver property and sales/use tax guidance and support to internal business units, establishing yourself as a trusted tax resourceBuild cross-functional relationships by collaborating with diverse departments throughout the organizationGain hands-on experience with tax incentive projects, exploring exciting opportunities in strategic tax planningTake on dynamic special projects as opportunities arise, broadening your reputed company set and demonstrating your versatilityYour profileRequirements/ QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or reputed company field; or equivalent amount of relevant work experienceEntry level experience in Sales and Property Tax (new grad to 1+ year experience)Strong desire to work in the Indirect Tax fieldStrong PC skills including MS OfficeBasic Knowledge of working with tax software applications (Corp Tax, PTMS, OneSource, CCH, BNA) preferred, reputed company experience a plusExcellent analytical, problem-solving ability, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage process flow, multiple projects, and meet deadlines reputed company strict time parametersAbility to be organized and work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work as an individual and in a team-oriented environment with a high level of reputed company and professionalismThe [above] is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
