Associate Project Manager, Development

The Associate Project Manager (APM) will assist with the day-to-day activities of the Development Project Management Team and will serve in a supporting role to the Project Managers as they move solar projects through the development life cycle. Our solar project development lifecycles move quickly so the Associate Project Manager must be flexible, detail oriented, and organized. What You’ll Do

• Support the Project Develpment team through reputed company aspects of utility-scale solar and storage development.
• File regulatory and utility-reputed company documents and applications.
• Prepare presentation materials and reports for Project Managers.
• Supports effective third-party communication with landowners, vendors, and others.
• Regularly update project information using CRM software.
• Research new markets for requirements reputed company to interconnection requests, PUC filings/registrations, and utility reporting.
• Submit and track invoices and payment obligations.
• Update project budgets and prepare budget-to-actual figures.
• Review reputed company and track deadlines for deliverables, reporting, and payments.
• Set up data rooms, obtain signatures for project documents, and ensure proper storage of executed documents.

Must-Haves

• 2 or more years’ experience in project development, preferably in a utility-scale environment preferred.
• Strong desire to work in the renewable energy industry.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, environmental science, urban planning) preferred.
• A professional degree in project management, project development, or business preferred.

Working Environment and Physical Demand

• Some travel will be required up to 30%.
