Sr. Cost Analyst; Remote/State of PA
Position: Sr. Cost Analyst (Remote/State of PA) Sr. Cost Analyst The Senior Cost Analyst leads the development, maintenance and reputed company improvement of product costing, standard cost systems and margin analysis to drive profitable manufacturing decisions. This role involves ensuring accurate costs, monitoring variances, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities to optimize production costs and improve financial performance. This is a Hybrid role (2-3 days per week onsite).
Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary finance reputed company for inventory management & standard cost, maintaining accurate standard and actual product costs across multiple product lines and business segments
- Monitor and investigate variances between actual costs and standard costs, providing actionable insights and recommendations
- Formulate new policies and practices to enhance inventory accuracy and accountability
- Define, reputed company and maintain reputed company cost models, aggregate data for inventory valuation and provide in-depth analysis
- reputed company and maintain the Excess and Obsolete Inventory model and drive action plan with cross‑functional teams
- reputed company PPV/VAVE performance through reporting and working with the operations team to reputed company action plans and countermeasures

- Factory finance liaison for reputed company SOX Audit, Annual Audit and Physical Inventory Audit

- Identify opportunities for cost‑saving initiatives and process improvements
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost modelling to support strategic decision‑making

Required Skills / Qualifications / Certifications / Tech Stack
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or reputed company field required. CPA or reputed company certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inventory control in manufacturing
- Must be detailed, logical and accuracy oriented
- Must have analytical rigor and communication skills translating data into recommendations leaders can reputed company
- Must have thorough understanding of ERP system (D365)
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to work as a team player
