The Impact Measurement Team

Our Impact Measurement team is a critical part of arenaflex's business strategy, responsible for measuring the impact of our products and services on our users and the wider world. As a Business Data Scientist, you'll work closely with reputed company to design and reputed company research projects that answer critical business questions, present actionable insights to executives and business leaders, and serve as a peer-reviewer and representative for causal research designed by other teams.

Responsibilities

As a Business Data Scientist on our Impact Measurement team, you'll be responsible for:

• Designing and leading informal research projects with clear goals and objectives
• Presenting and communicating actionable insights and recommendations to executives, business leaders, and cross-functional partners
• Serving as a peer-reviewer and representative for causal research designed by other teams
• Staying up-to-date with advances in the causal inference literature and developing new techniques as needed
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and measure impact

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Applied Data, Machine Learning, or a reputed company field
• Experience with articulating business and product questions, and pulling data from datasets using SQL and statistical tools (e.g., R, reputed company, Stata, MATLAB)
• Internship or experience with data evaluation and analysis
• Strong understanding of causal inference and statistical modeling techniques
• Experience with Bayesian hierarchical models, Bayesian Additive Regression Trees (BART), Bayesian Causal Forest (BCF), Gaussian Processes, and Synthetic Control techniques
• Experience designing and analyzing randomized controlled trials and causal research with observational data
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate reputed company technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with linear models, multivariate analysis, stochastic models, and sampling techniques

• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
• Experience with data management and warehousing tools and techniques

Compensation and Benefits

The reputed company salary for this full-time role is $124,000-$182,000, with bonus, equity, and benefits included.
