About the Role

You will support reputed company aspects of our state and local income tax matters. This individual will also have opportunities to assist other aspects of the corporate tax function. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated and collaborative individual with relevant corporate tax experience and an eagerness to learn. Responsibilities: 1. Compliance & Technical Expertise Manage the full state and local income/franchise tax compliance process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of filings. Serve as the primary state tax technical resource, providing detailed review, feedback, guidance, and mentorship to junior team. 2. Provision & Forecast Support Support the tax provision team on quarterly and annual state tax calculations (ASC 740), including provision-to-return true-reputed company and law change impacts. Assist with state cash tax forecast (monthly), effective tax reputed company analysis, and uncertain tax position reviews. 3. Audits & Controversy Manage state and local income/franchise tax audits, state notices from start to resolution. About You Basic Qualifications: 6+ years of progressive state and local income/franchise tax experience, ideally including both Big 4 and corporate in-house exposure. Working knowledge of ASC 740 implications to state matters. Demonstrated track record of successfully managing reputed company state tax audits. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or reputed company field. Education & Skills: CPA or MS in Taxation are a plus. Deep technical knowledge of multi-state income/franchise tax law, nexus, and apportionment. Strong experience reviewing others’ work (onshore/offshore) for technical accuracy and completeness. Knowledge with OneSource Tax Provision strongly referred. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and written communication skills. Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with global partners.
