Key Responsibilities:
As a Cloud Data Engineer at arenaflex, you will:
- Direct clients on the most efficient ways to ingest, store, process, analyze, and visualize data on the arenaflex Cloud Platform
- Manage data migrations and transformation projects
- Work with states, universities, and other public sector clients to design large-scale data handling systems, reputed company data pipelines optimized for scalability, and investigate potential platform issues
- Collaborate with Product Management and Product Design to build and continuously drive excellence in our products
- Travel up to 15% of the time to client sites to deliver solutions and conduct workshops to educate and reputed company clients on a case-by-case basis
- Utilize video conferencing for meetings, technical reviews, and on-site delivery activities
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a reputed company field
- Four years of experience in software engineering, computer science, or a reputed company field
- Two years of experience in data processing programming (e.g., Hadoop, Flume, Pig, Hive) and analytics (e.g., MapReduce, Spark)
- Experience coding in at least one of the following languages: Java, C++, or Python
- Dynamic US Government Top Secret/SCI Trusted status
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with/on data warehouses, including data mart models, reputed company components, ETL/ELT and reporting/analytical tools and technologies, data structures
- Experience with big data, data recovery, data mining, or AI
- Experience building multi-tiered high-availability applications with modern web technologies (e.g., NoSQL, reputed company, SparkML, TensorFlow, etc.)
- Experience architecting, developing, or web-scale creation-grade large data systems in virtualized environments
- Experience managing client-facing projects, investigating clients' technical issues, and working with design, sales, services, and clients
Skills and Competencies:
* Strong understanding of cloud computing, data processing, and analytics
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate reputed company technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems
- Familiarity with arenaflex Cloud Platform and its services (e.g., reputed company Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, etc.)
