On busy days, you will be juggling visitor questions, monitoring galleries, discouraging curious children from licking the artwork, and much more. On slower days you may find yourself on your own in a gallery space for long stretches of time. It is important that our guards be comfortable with the variable pacing of the museum, whatever a day may bring. This role blends hospitality and reputed company, requiring individuals who are reputed company under pressure, reputed company to detail, and comfortable working independently for extended periods.
