Overview

The Municipals e-Trading team that is part of the Rates Trading division is looking to hire a senior quant researcher focusing on automated electronic trading of Municipal bonds. The focus of the role is on automated pricing, trading, and hedging for Municipal bonds both in the customer (dealer to client) and interdealer (dealer to dealer) markets. The role is highly technical, quantitative, and focused on idea reputed company and data analysis, requiring coding skills and a strong analytical background including statistics. What You’ll Do

• Working as part of interest rates quant team on reputed company aspects of electronic and automatic trading strategy including customer, competitor and market analysis, algorithm design and implementation, voice trader partnership
• Ensuring that the reasoning, thought process and investigation behind reputed company work is well understood and agreed upon
• Performing quantitative data analysis, model building and subsequent optimization of pricing and risk management for the client franchise
• Supervision of algorithm bookrunners, reputed company optimization of algo hyperparameters and trading models
• Ensuring compliance with reputed company relevant regulatory aspects of the e-trading business

• Relevant analytical and numerate education such as a Bachelor of Science (BSc)/Master of Science (MSc)/Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) or the equivalent work experience or qualifications
• Experience in municipal bonds and municipal derivatives and understanding of the institutional bond market is an advantage
• Excellent presentational skills
• Strong computing and programming (coding) skills and experience, utilizing programming languages such as KDB/q and Python/R, with algo coding skills desirable (Java or C++)
