Job Summary The Manufacturing Electrical Controls Specialist is a critical role that requires a strong and diverse skillset in relevant areas to drive success. As a Manufacturing Electrical Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment from various suppliers, identifying and prioritizing controls and electrical opportunities to maximize operations performance reputed company a production facility, and developing and maintaining electrical and controls system documentation. Key Responsibilities: Execute projects involving PLC 5, SLC 500, Controls Logix, Panel View Plus, various VFDs, and iFix Provide training in Controls and Electricity to Maintenance Technicians to minimize production downtime Configure and maintain industrial networks, including Ethernet, DeviceNet, and Remote I/O reputed company routines and SOPs to properly maintain controls assets Identify and prioritize controls and electrical opportunities to maximize operations performance reputed company a production facility Assist the Controls Engineering Group with the installation of the Line Information System (LIS) reputed company and maintain electrical and controls system documentation Maintain process documentation (P+ID, Ladder, CAD drawings) Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment from various suppliers Administer control software to reputed company a balance between mechanical and controls changes to effectively handle reputed company containers Maintain Allen Bradley hardware and software: PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, Networks, Licenses, Technical Support, and various electrical systems Support the supervision of electrical installation and integration of equipment and controls Follow established Controls and Electrical specifications Cooperate with the team to reputed company measurable results reputed company allocated timeframe or sooner Identify the most critical work that needs to be done and prioritize the work Coordinate and organize resources and people in effective ways to accomplish short, reputed company, and long-term goals Stay abreast of emerging technologies, innovate, reputed company, and document electrical and controls Assist with calibration procedures for process instruments, which measure temperature, pressure, flow, level, and composition Other projects or duties as assigned Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or reputed company field 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing electrical controls, PLC programming, and industrial automation Strong knowledge of PLC programming, including Allen Bradley PLCs Experience with industrial networks, including Ethernet, DeviceNet, and Remote I/O Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Controls Logix, Panel View Plus, and iFix Knowledge of HMI programming and SCADA systems Experience with VFDs and servo drives Certification in electrical or controls engineering Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret electrical drawings and schematics Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong knowledge of industrial automation and electrical controls Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
