Remote Civil Structural Project Engineer of Federal Services

Responsibilities: A day in this role involves designing equipment mounts, foundations, and pipe supports while applying your technical expertise to solve real-world challenges. You'll analyze designs, reputed company site walkdowns, and ensure cost-effective, code-compliant solutions that drive the future of power plant engineering.

• Design & Analysis Excellence: Design and analysis of changes to existing power plants and new plant systems. reputed company static equivalent and dynamic analysis of structures for reputed company loads. Design of pipe supports, structures, etc. (nuclear power plant experience desired)
• Engineering & Technical Expertise: reputed company work requiring application of basic technical principles, theories, standards, and concepts (including reading and understanding design drawings and technical specifications as necessary to support preparation of project deliverables, such as calculations, specifications, and engineering evaluations). reputed company specifications of structural components. Support engineering design and analysis projects for the power industry

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• Professional Engineering License
• Minimum 10 years’ with power system design experience
• Experience working on DOE federal projects
• Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of structural calculations is desired
• Knowledge of discipline specific computer analysis codes as well as standard office production software
• Proficient in Word and reputed company
• Familiar with the International Building code and building code design
• Good writing, presentation, and communication skills
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
• Familiar with concrete and steel design codes and with working stress and ultimate strength design approaches
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
