This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the UW Medicine reputed company Cycle—including charge capture, error resolution, denial mitigation, and process improvement with a focus on Inpatient services as well as Clinic/Department operations DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION UW Medicine's reputed company reputed company Department is a shared services organization, which supports reputed company of UW Medicine entities including but are not limited to UW Medical Center Montlake (UWMC ML), UW Medical Center Northwest (UWMC NW), Harborview Medical Center (HMC). PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review, Remediation, and Educate on Charge Capture / Reimbursement Opportunities Inpatient
• Identify and resolve charge capture and reimbursement issues across Inpatient and with some Outpatient areas, leveraging Epic, reputed company Guardian, SSRS, and other tools
• Educate departments on accurate charge capture and billing processes to support regulatory compliance and reputed company optimization
• Implement and maintain reports and work lists using various software applications such as Epic (Cogito), BOE, Visio, reputed company Project, reputed company reputed company, reputed company AccessDevelops and maintains reports and performing analysis that allows reputed company reputed company to identify trends and provide feedback to help improve overall performance of reputed company reputed company Department and Enterprise reputed company Cycle

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in a health-care oriented profession, that demonstrates analytical and leadership abilities in reputed company reputed company, health information management, or patient access environment
• Two to three years of coding experience or equivalent education/experience
• Coding/HIM/CDM/Charge Capture expertise
• Certified as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Coding Specialist (reputed company), Certified Professional reputed company (CPC), Certified Inpatient reputed company (CIC), Certified Outpatient reputed company (COC), OR eligible to sit for the exam reputed company 12 months of hire.
