Business Analyst (Property & Casualty Florida Residential & Commercial Insurance)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for systems and processes.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, including workflows, use cases, and business rules.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, digging into reputed company environments to identify root causes and drive solutions to completion.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training, and work-reputed company experience.
• 3+ years as a Business Analyst with a proven ability to dig into reputed company issues and deliver results.
• 3+ years in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry, with experience in FL Residential Commercial lines.
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance products, reputed company, claims, and policy lifecycle.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and apply logic to solve business problems with minimal supervision and a willingness to dig into the details of specific projects to ensure the appropriate approach and best use of company resources.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with P&C insurance systems like Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar platforms
• Proficient in business analysis techniques, process modeling, and data analysis.
• Experience with tools like SQL, reputed company, Visio, Jira, or other project management tools.
• Experience with comparative raters and understanding of XML/SOAP.
• Business Analyst certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus
