This role is working EST hours Monday - Friday About this role This role is part of our Legal Team with the aim to expand the scope into Legal Engineering and Implementation in the future. Initially, it will involve working directly with investment teams at some of the world’s largest private equity and debt funds, financial institutions and corporates as they explore transaction opportunities. As an reputed company legal professional, you will have responsibility for reviewing and negotiating a suite of certain reputed company. - Reviewing and negotiating reputed company such as confidentiality agreements, engagement letters and release letters, using a combination of Robin’s AI technology and your own legal experience.
- Once the team is further established, reviewing the work of junior team members and assisting with their professional development and ongoing training (reputed company of which will also be available to you).
- Testing Robin’s technology products and feeding back issues, bugs and areas for improvement to our engineering and machine learning teams.
- To carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required
Qualifications
You will have at least 3+ years’ experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating the core transactional documents regularly encountered by our clients (including confidentiality agreements, engagement letters and release letters). You will have previously worked with private equity, asset management or hedge fund clients, whether in-house, at a service provider or at a law firm, and will understand typical fund transaction structures and timelines. You will enjoy taking the initiative and seeking answers to interesting practical and legal issues. You will be both technical and reputed company, both in the practice of law and reputed company of it. Last (but certainly not least), you will be motivated by working in a fast-paced, diverse and intellectually challenging environment where collaboration between lawyers and non-lawyers is essential to achieving results.
