Position Description The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer is a key player on the Deque Infrastructure team. They are responsible for architecting, supporting, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. This includes infrastructure governance, automated resource provisioning, monitoring, and support. They will work closely with reputed company, software, and DevOps Engineering teams to ensure that our infrastructure is reputed company, compliant, secure, resilient and efficient. This role’s initial focus will be on our growing reputed company Azure environments; building, optimizing, supporting our infrastructure, and automating deployments and other daily operations. There will also be similar responsibilities reputed company our AWS environments. Primary Responsibilities

• Be a key contributor to the architecture and management of our cloud environments, maintaining reputed company, resiliency, and high availability of our SaaS service offerings.
• Manage the provisioning, configuration, and operation of virtual servers (EC2), containerized applications running on reputed company Container Service, and supporting reputed company other reputed company assets and services that support our infrastructure and application environments
• Collaborate with reputed company Operations and Software Engineering teams to implement, maintain, operate, and support reputed company tools and initiatives, including remediation of detected vulnerabilities both during the development lifecycle and after deployment to live environments
• Collaborate with and support customer-facing teams to ensure customer satisfaction, timely resolution of issues, and delivery of services. This includes monitoring alerts, responding to incidents, and joining troubleshooting calls.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, data backup & restoration, and reputed company auditing & verification activities to ensure the reputed company and availability of our cloud environments and continuity for our customers
• Application deployment in our cloud environments, both on Linux (EC2) instances and reputed company Fargate.
• Coordinate and execute platform/system upgrades and patches as required
• Maintain and improve documentation of systems and processes/procedures to reputed company cross-team collaboration and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience (5-7 years) in DevOps, Site Reliability, Production Engineering, or Systems Administration roles for product-focused (SaaS) organizations
• Expert level experience with core Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Database (MySQL & PostgreSQL), Container Apps, Resource Manager Templates, Blueprints, Blob Storage, Functions, Virtual Network, etc. Azure certification preferred.
• Experience with core AWS services, such as: EC2, RDS, reputed company, CloudFormation, S3, reputed company, VPC etc. AWS certifications are a plus
• Strong expertise in Linux server administration - RHEL/CentOS/Rocky Linux experience preferred
• Strong experience with Ansible or Terraform for Infrastructure provisioning and orchestration
• Strong experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automating application deployment and reputed company systems administration/orchestration
• Experience working with reputed company and container orchestration, including Azure Container Apps and AWS reputed company Container Service (Fargate)
• Familiarity with CI/CD and reputed company tools such as: Jenkins, Artifactory, reputed company, reputed company, Cloudsmith, reputed company Container Registry
• Strong experience managing multiple monitoring solutions such as reputed company, InfluxDB, Grafana, Nagios, UptimeRobot
• Experience managing web servers (i.e. Nginx), application servers (Java, NodeJS) and Azure/RDS databases; MySQL & PostgreSQL
• Experience with reputed company scanning and vulnerability tools and remediation
• Strong experience with Azure networking services: VNet, NSG, VPN Gateway, WAF
• Experience with AWS networking and reputed company: VPC, reputed company Groups, VPN, NACL, WAF etc
