About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Tech Customer Service Representative to join our team, specializing in water heaters. As the eyes and ears of our team, you will field customer inquiries, find innovative ways to respond, and work in a collaborative and engaging environment. This role offers the unique opportunity to work from home after completing on-site training in Johnson City, TN, and interact with people from all walks of life, ensuring no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing excellent customer service through active listening
  • Work with confidential customer information, treating it sensitively and with utmost care
  • Aim to resolve issues on the first call by being proactive and communicating effectively with customers
  • Calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues, escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate
  • Track all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, providing feedback on call issues to improve our services

Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should be a fearless and inspired individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. We require:

  • 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a tech-related field
  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment, with a strong internet connection and a clean, quiet workspace
  • High school graduate or GED, with proven oral and written communication skills
  • Logical problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate Windows operating systems and type at a speed of 25 wpm
  • Organization and work prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work from Home Requirements

To ensure a seamless remote work experience, we require:

  • Internet requirements: minimum subscribed download rate of 15.0 Mbps, minimum subscribed upload rate of 5.0 Mbps, and an ISP with no packet loss and ping under 50ms
  • Internet connections cannot be Satellite, Mobile Data (5G, 4G, 3G hotspots), P2P, or VPN
  • Proof of internet speed required, with a clean and quiet workspace dedicated to your work
