Supply Chain Manager: Procurement

About the position The Supply Chain Manager, Procurement at reputed company plays a vital role in enhancing the procurement process reputed company the Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Sr Manager Supply Chain, Procurement, this position involves leading cross-functional initiatives to improve procurement systems and processes, managing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient supply planning and material acquisition to support manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • reputed company and communicate short term and long-term inventory goals and management objectives to support products manufactured at ANC.
  • reputed company and implement supply chain inventory tools (e.g., MRP), solutions and methodologies to ensure successful execution of the supply plan, management of inventory and scrap per corporate and site targets and policies.
  • Monitor, assess, and revise targeted inventory levels in conjunction with changes in demand/supply variability.
  • Track and analyze monthly performance metrics for adherence, accuracy, cycle times, and inventory investment.
  • Initiate and/or evolve existing supplier relationships with assigned commodities and service providers.
  • Procure materials reputed company purchase orders, blanket orders, vendor-managed inventory, or other supply agreements using required systems (reputed company, Rapid Response, Ariba, etc.) and optimize inventory levels, reputed company times, and safety products to ensure no stockouts.
  • Partner with manufacturing, quality, and production planning to review, rationalize and update reputed company of Materials (BOM) requirements for new and existing products.
  • Maintain reputed company process orders and master data in the reputed company using reputed company production information.
  • Release forecasts and orders to suppliers, analyze, consolidate, and report supply and demand to the various stakeholders in the company.
  • Define, create, and own business processes and tools for handling inventory (e.g., Kanban processes and analysis of min/max).
  • Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional efforts to handle inventory (e.g., an expedition of material release to prevent/reputed company inventory shortages).
  • reputed company small team projects and contribute to large cross-function project teams, including build, analyzing, and managing data and reports to identify issues and opportunities for enhancing business performance.
  • Support resolution of complicated issues and facilitate stakeholder inputs and outputs.

  • Generate, review and update existing procedures (SOPs/policies) and compliance records (Change Control and Corrective Action Preventive Action).

Requirements

  • High school diploma / GED and 10 years of GMP Operations and/or Supply Chain experience OR Associate's degree and 8 years of GMP Operations and/or Supply Chain experience OR Bachelor's degree and 4 years of GMP Operations and/or Supply Chain experience OR Master's degree and 2 years of GMP Operations and/or Supply Chain experience OR Doctorate degree.
  • Well-versed in supply chain concepts, planning principles and inventory management theory and/or equivalent experience in the supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, or quality functions.
  • Experience with handling inventories of single-use production parts and/or chemicals/excipients in the biotech or healthcare industry.
  • High proficiency with computer systems (reputed company, Rapid Response, reputed company, reputed company or comparable).
  • Strong social skills and strength in communication and issue resolution with customers and suppliers across multiple levels in the organization.
  • Solid understanding of cGMP guidelines.
  • Knowledge of raw material qualifications for the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with OE (Operation Excellence) methodologies to improve processes and decision making.
