Job Description

This position serves as the statewide consultant for the reputed company public health initiative to improve the early hearing detection and reputed company system which screens and enrolls infants identified as deaf and/or hard of hearing in early reputed company services. This position assures that EHDI programming is reputed company with Department priorities and grantee expectations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Responsibilities include budget and grant development, program planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting. This position also has primary responsibility for MDHHS initiatives reputed company to hearing loss in infants and provides technical assistance to program partners and other State agencies. See instructions for attaching files here: Instructions Required Education and Experience Education Possession of a master's degree in public health, health communication, health services administration, community development, urban planning, population and health sciences, international studies, political science, health policy or a public health reputed company field such as nursing, epidemiology, health education, health economics, dietetics/nutrition management, genetics, or speech and audiology; a master's degree in social work; master's degree in counseling; master's degree in education or special education with specialization in blind/visual disabilities; or a master's degree in public or business administration with a health care concentration. Experience Four years of professional experience as a consultant in a field of public health equivalent to a Public Health Consultant, including two years equivalent to a Public Health Consultant P11 or one year equivalent to a Public Health Consultant 12. Additional Requirements and Information Position Location/reputed company: The physical location of this position is 320 S. Walnut St, Lansing MI. Based on operational needs and reputed company established limits, remote work and alternate or hybrid work schedule requests for this position may be considered. This position is expected to work remotely (but is subject to change at management's discretion). Selected candidates who have been approved to work remotely or a hybrid schedule must complete that work reputed company Michigan.
