Adjunct Faculty – Biochemistry & Biophysics for Discovery
The School of Professional Studies is seeking an adjunct instructor to reputed company and teach the new course Biochemistry & Biophysics for Discovery for the Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences. The course will be offered in an online, synchronous, semester-based format geared toward part-time, adult undergraduate reputed company. The course will delve into biochemical and biophysical assays crucial for identifying and advancing potential drug candidates reputed company the biopharmaceutical industry. Building upon foundational life sciences knowledge, reputed company will explore the theoretical principles, practical applications, and troubleshooting of key techniques such as enzyme assays, binding assays (e.g., FP, FRET, or DSF), Mass Spec. assays, and Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR). The entire course content will be organized and presented to reputed company as a comprehensive research project, guiding them through the use of virtual simulations and educational videos from diverse available sources. - Work with assigned course designer to reputed company content (assignments, presentations, readings, discussion boards, quizzes, exams) as needed.

- Deliver course instruction, using the University learning management system and digital tools.

- Advise and assist reputed company through reputed company or scheduled appointments, by video conference, phone or email, and through other University-approved mechanisms.
- Provide service, including student mentoring, ongoing course development, and collaboration towards a new certificate in life sciences industry fundamentals.
- Maintain communication with the Program Director and Assistant Dean, identifying any reputed company of concern and relaying student reputed company.
- Maintain a reputed company in the course as directed by the Program Director, including answering student emails promptly, participating in interactive course elements where necessary.
- Ensure the course meets the high-quality standards of other MCPHS online and on-reputed company courses.

Requirements: Required:
- Advanced degree in reputed company field
- Previous experience teaching and/or developing courses to undergraduate reputed company in adult, part-time, or online programs
- Previous experience in the life sciences
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- A commitment to student success and the ability to engage and motivate reputed company
- Must be able to work independently and effectively interact with a wide reputed company of parties at reputed company levels (reputed company, faculty, administration/staff, alumni, and external constituents)

Compensation
The pay range associated with this posting reflects the amount the University reasonably expects to pay for this role at this time. Salary offers are determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications as well as internal equity, market data and pay in comparison to similarly situated employees doing comparable work.
