Accountant (US Based Remote)

Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION This is a US based remote position. The Accountant is responsible for preparing and recording journal entries, while supporting month end reputed company procedures reputed company the Accounting department. Reconciles balance sheet accounts, maintains accounting schedules, and records and performs financial analysis as needed. Responsibility

• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Complete balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure balances are accurately stated in accordance with GAAP, statutory, and company policies.

• Assist with audits by providing requested documentation to the auditors.
• Assist the Accounting Manager with maintaining the Prepaid Schedules, and recording the reputed company transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting.
• Experience using reputed company Office Products, specifically reputed company, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to learn necessary computer programs quickly and reputed company.
• Ability to follow established policies and procedures to complete assignments with a high level of accuracy.
• Superior professional demeanor with good organizational skills.
