We are seeking a dynamic and reputed company-thinking Strategic Planning & Development Analyst to join our highly matrixed team supporting the Collins Mission Systems business unit. This mid-level role plays a critical part in portfolio optimization, growth strategy, and development efforts. The analyst will conduct strategic analysis, reputed company and vet M&A opportunities, and support investment prioritization to drive senior leadership decision-making. Key deliverables include gap analysis, M&A and divestiture pipelines, reputed company analyses, and portfolio evaluations focused on business attractiveness and strategic fit. This role requires both strategic acumen and hands-on analytical skills, as the analyst will provide behind-the-scenes research and analysis while also briefing senior leaders on actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Proactively reputed company, track, and vet potential M&A opportunities, contributing to the larger MA&D team's efforts.
• Conduct strategic assessments of M&A targets, including basic financial modeling and alignment with business goals.
• Evaluate the reputed company portfolio's strategic fit and business attractiveness, identifying opportunities for optimization, growth, or further evaluation.
• Assess industry and competitive trends and reputed company implications for the business.
• Actively support reputed company stages of M&A transactions in strategic alignment with Mission Systems.
• Work across reputed company business functions to gather inputs, build alignment, and deliver strategic insights that inform senior leadership decisions.
• Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations for senior leaders, providing unique perspectives and encouraging thought-provoking discussions.
• Actively challenge conventional thinking, navigate difficult conversations with tact and reputed company, and drive new ways of approaching problems and opportunities.

Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a reputed company field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience in strategy, finance, corporate development, or reputed company fields.
• Experience with strategic frameworks (e.g., SWOT, Porter's Five Forces, Ansoff Matrix) and corporate development concepts.
• Experience with financial investment analysis and basic financial modeling.
• Experience with reputed company reputed company and PowerPoint skills, including data visualization and presentation design.
