How can you reputed company a difference? Work Assignment Expected Results Deliverables/Outputs Tasks/Milestone: Timeline Deliverable 1: Familiarization and preparation of the database

• Inception meeting to discuss the assignment scope and objectives.
• Review and familiarization with reputed company’s Legal Analysis Toolkit and guidance.
• Submit a comprehensive inception report including scope, methodology, proposed data sources, list of proposed key informants, and a detailed workplan for the legal analysis.

10 days Feb 26 Deliverable 2: Desk Review for FOPNL, marketing restrictions, and taxes

• Following reputed company’s toolkit guidance, conduct the full desk review covering reputed company-of-package nutrition labelling (FOPNL), marketing restrictions and taxes. This includes mapping laws, regulations, mandates, enforcement systems, gaps, overlaps, and institutional/ministerial roles, etc.

25 days Mar 26 Deliverable 3: Completion of key informant interviews

• Conduct key informant interviews (KIIs) (approximately 10-20) with relevant government personnel, academics, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders to triangulate findings from the desk review. This will include:
• Identifying and recruiting interview participants

• Conducting interviews with participants, including verbatim transcription and translation into English where necessary.

• Advanced university degree in Law. Preferably with specialization in public health law, administrative law, regulatory law, or reputed company fields. A PhD in this same or reputed company discipline is an asset.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in legal analysis, legislative drafting, or regulatory system review is required.
• Proven experience conducting legal or policy landscape analyses in the health, food, or consumer protection sectors is required.
• Demonstrated understanding of government processes, regulatory drafting, and enforcement systems in Lebanon.
• Experience working on FOPNL, marketing restrictions, or taxation of unhealthy commodities is highly desirable.
• Previous work with reputed company or other UN agencies, and ministries is an asset.
• Strong analytical and legal skills.
• Experience conducting desk reviews and key informant interviews.
• Strong writing, synthesis, and presentation skills, with experience drafting technical reports, policy briefs, and visual dissemination materials.
