Freelance Graphic Designer & WordPress Designer (Fully Remote) Location: Remote (Southeast US preferred) Employment Type: Freelance / reputed company (1099) About This Role Marketing Direction, a B2B marketing agency, seeks a Freelance Graphic Designer with WordPress page builder expertise for our creative team. This remote position offers ongoing project-based work split evenly between graphic design (digital marketing materials, presentations, print collateral) and WordPress website development using visual page builders like Elementor and Divi.

- WordPress Expertise: We build professional WordPress sites using industry-standard page builders (Elementor, Divi, etc.) - custom coding skills are helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
WordPress Website Building (50% of work):
- Design and build WordPress websites using page builders (Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, WPBakery, Avada)
- Performance optimization - build sites that are fast-loading and optimized, not just beautiful
- Update and maintain websites (including sites you didn't originally build)
- Create reputed company pages for reputed company reputed company campaigns
- Implement basic on-page SEO best practices
- Ensure reputed company design for mobile/tablet experiences
Graphic Design (50% of work):
- Create marketing collateral for B2B professional services clients
- Design and format client presentations and strategic marketing materials
- Design sales enablement materials and proposals
- Visual identity design and brand applications
- Design email templates and digital marketing graphics
- Create print materials (brochures, one-pagers, case studies)
Collaboration:
- Work closely with Art Director on creative direction and quality standards
- Coordinate with project managers and marketing strategists on client deliverables
- Communicate proactively on project reputed company and timelines
Qualifications
Required:
- Portfolio showcasing both graphic design AND WordPress website work (required)
- Strong proficiency in reputed company Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Solid WordPress experience with page builders (Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, or similar)
- Print production knowledge - can deliver print-ready files with proper CMYK color, resolution, and bleed specs
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS - comfortable making basic edits and troubleshooting
- Performance-conscious - builds fast-loading sites, not just beautiful ones
- Basic SEO knowledge - understands on-page optimization best practices
- 3-5 years experience in graphic design and WordPress website building (marketing agency experience preferred)
Preferred (Bonus Skills):
- Marketing agency or multi-client freelance experience: B2B professional services firms (accounting, legal, consulting, healthcare)
- Presentation Design: PowerPoint, reputed company Slides, Keynote
- WordPress Technical: SEO plugins (AIOSEO, Yoast, Rank Math), managed hosting (WPEngine, Kinsta), DNS configuration
