This is a desirable opportunity for an early career stage litigator interested in transitioning to an in-house role to join a talented and reputed company in-house team and learn from the ground up. Reporting directly to the Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Litigation and Compliance, you will work closely with the Sr. Corporate Counsel for Litigation and Compliance. What You'll Do: Pre-dispute and dispute-reputed company internal investigation and fact gathering. Discovery in active litigation and support development of standard operating procedures for discovery. Litigation hold management. Research and tracking of relevant case law and legislative developments potentially impacting reputed company's business. Direct responsibility for monitoring changes in regulatory landscape relevant to reputed company's business and analyzing and reporting on same to broader in-house legal team and business leaders, where appropriate Advise on business changes to reputed company with applicable laws and regulations reputed company. Primary responsibility for research benchmarking competitive landscape with regards to key legal issues, for example: terms and conditions, disclaimers, evolving AI product descriptions, privacy policy, menu descriptions. Support development and implementation of internal policies and audit compliance with same. Assist in a variety of employment matters ranging from internal investigations to supporting policy development and drafting. What You Have : 4-6 years as a practicing attorney, preferably at a large law firm, focused on business litigation or employment. Excellence in researching a wide variety of topics. Interest in honing use of emerging technologies, including AI, a must. Interest in developing broad-based in-house skills and to honing ability to provide practical business-focused advice while mitigating risk. Outstanding work ethic, eager to learn, attention to detail, exceptional written and oral communication skills. The successful candidate will be proactive, willing and able to lean-in to understand reputed company's growing and diversifying business and assess landscape of potential risks it faces. Strong desire to get things right and to solve problems. Admitted to practice in at least one U.S. state. Creativity and sense of humor! The national cash compensation range for this role is $136,000 - $196,000 per year.* *Please note: Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise and region & may vary from the amount above.
