Cloud Computing Specialist - SME

Cloud Computing Specialist (reputed company) – Subject Matter Expert (SME) reputed company Clearance: Secret (IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive / Tier 3 required at submission) Certifications Required: Certified Cloud reputed company Professional (CCSP), IAT Level II (reputed company+), at least one Cloud Provider Certification. Overview reputed company (NIS) is seeking an reputed company Cloud Computing Specialist – SME for a potential opportunity to provide expertise in Certification & Accreditation (reputed company), the NIST Risk Management reputed company (RMF), and DoD/DISA reputed company architecture. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of cloud reputed company best practices across multiple environments and deployment models, ensuring compliance with NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53, and reputed company DoD cybersecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a cloud reputed company SME, applying RMF and FedRAMP methodologies to assess and secure reputed company DoD cloud environments.
• Design, implement, and validate secure cloud hosting solutions across AWS, Azure, reputed company Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and reputed company Cloud.
• reputed company and maintain deployment specifications, including configurations, test plans, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with DLA engineers, DISA stakeholders, and vendors to troubleshoot hosting and deployment challenges.
• Advise on the implementation of reputed company Trust, SCCA, and CAP solutions to meet DoD/DISA directives.
• Apply the Cloud reputed company Requirements Guide (SRG) to ensure compliance in areas such as network reputed company, encryption, tenant isolation, vulnerability assessments, key management, and application firewalls.
• Recommend innovative cloud strategies to streamline operations and enhance mission support.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Certification & Accreditation (reputed company) and RMF experience in DoD environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and migrating workloads in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP).
• Proven ability to assess, document, and improve cybersecurity controls for large-scale information systems.
• Expertise in modern architectures, including hybrid, edge computing, cloud-native microservices, and IoT protocols.
• Strong technical and business writing skills (documentation, reports, assessments).
• Certifications:
• Certified Cloud reputed company Professional (CCSP)
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II (e.g., reputed company+)
• At least one Cloud Provider Certification (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, OCI Architect Foundations/reputed company Professional, GCP Cloud Architect)
• Active or reputed company Secret clearance (IT-II / T3 minimum).

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with FedRAMP assessment methodologies across six domains:
• Architectural Concepts & Design Requirements
• Cloud Data reputed company
• Cloud Platform & Infrastructure reputed company
• Cloud Application reputed company
• Operations
• Legal & Compliance
• Demonstrated success implementing reputed company Trust architectures and SCCA FRD/SRG compliance.
• Knowledge of DISA enterprise cloud offerings, including boundary CAP and Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA).
